North Texas Track & Field And Cross Country Fan Guide

Admission to North Texas home track and field meets and cross country meets is free and open to the public.

Fouts Field And The Mean Green Village

The North Texas track and field team's home is Fouts Field, while the cross country team trains and hosts meets in and around the Mean Green Village.

Fouts Field was home to North Texas football for 59 years. When its gridiron days ended after the 2010 season, it became a venue dedicated to track and field. It is outfitted with an all-weather track and extensive field facilities. Click here for more information on the North Texas Track and Field facilities.

The cross country team's home course winds through the green spaces in the Mean Green Village, a 199.5-acre area on the south side of I-35E where North Texas has built a community of facilities for student-athletes comparable or exceeding that of any other major university. The Mean Green Village course is the site of the Ken Garland Invitational, and in 2014 hosted the Conference USA championships.
